The new CX225 minimum-swing-radius excavator from Case Construction Equipment features engine power of 141 net horsepower (105 kW), bucket digging force of 31,698 pounds (141 kN) and a tight swing radius of 5 feet 6 inches (1.681 m). It excels at performing on cramped job sites, but is also well-suited to more wide-open work environments.

The tail-swing radius for the CX225 is 3 feet 5 inches (1.04 m) smaller than on the CX210. The CX225 delivers dig depths up to 22 feet (6.7 m). It has a work diameter of just 13.1 feet (3.99 m).
